PVC & WPC Boards - Do's & Don'ts

Follow these recommendations while storing, cutting, laminating, painting and cleaning DENWUD PVC & WPC Boards to achieve the best finish and maintain warranty coverage.

Warranty Notice: Boards must always be laminated or painted equally on both sides. One-side lamination or unequal thickness can permanently bend the board and is not covered under warranty.

  • Always store sheets flat on a level surface.
  • Never lean sheets vertically.
  • Avoid direct sunlight and high temperatures while storing.
  • Keep sheets flat during transport and fabrication.

  • Lift sheets individually. Never drag them.
  • Remove dust and debris before stacking.
  • Clean cutting residue before re-stacking.
  • Use a clean dry cloth before storage.

  • Use hand or machine cutters.
  • Finish edges using a sander/chiffer tool.
  • Use NC Putty, Polish Putty or M-Seal where required.
  • Sand using 180/220 grit before painting or laminating.

  • Laminate both sides equally.
  • Use equal thickness on both sides.
  • Apply primer before painting.
  • Dry in a ventilated area. Avoid direct sunlight.

  • Use Turpentine for adhesive residue.
  • Use clean water and mild detergent.
  • Never use thinner, acetone or harsh solvents.
  • Avoid abrasive scrubbing pads.

  • Inspect Both Sides: Open the packaging and check both sides of every sheet before starting any work.
  • Check Colour Sheets: For colour sheets, carefully inspect for colour variations or surface scratches.
  • Pre-Cut Inspection Rule: All quality checks must be completed before cutting begins; DENWUD will not be responsible for any complaints raise
